Wise And Faithful Servant

Scripture: 45 “Who is the one qualified to oversee the master’s house? He will be a reliable servant who is wise and faithful, one he can depend on. The master will want to give him the responsibility of overseeing others in his house, for his servant will lead them well and give them food at the right time. 46 What joy and blessing will come to that faithful servant when the master comes home to find him serving with excellence! 47 I can promise you, the master will raise him up and put him in charge of all that he owns. (Matthew 24:45-47 The Passion) When I am given a job to do, how do I do it? I want to be known as one who does what I’m asked to do; and to do it with as much excellence as possible. Can it be a joy to serve and do it responsibly? Each of us have opportunities to serve, to be given responsibilities. How am I doing with this? How are you doing? Father, I want you to see me doing what You ask me to do, and doing it to the best of my ability. I want You to be able to depend on me. AMEN Yes, my God, You can scrutinize me. Refine my heart and probe my every thought. I will never lose sight of Your love for me as Your faithfulness has steadied my steps. Psalm 26
