We Are His Children

Scripture:

1 See how very much our heavenly Father loves us, for he allows us to be called his children, and we really are! But the people who belong to this world don’t know God, so they don’t understand that we are his children. (1 John 3:1 NLT)

How appropriate for us on Christmas day to be reminded by John that we have the privilege of being called the children of our Father! Jesus was born a baby, lived his life, died on the cross, and rose again so that we might have life, and be called the children of God. We know God, and live in Him, and live for Him.

Father, I thank You that You were willing to send Your only Son to earth to live, die, and rise again so that I can call You my Father. I love You, and I love it that I can call You my Father, and I love that You call me Your child. AMEN

Father, I thank You for sending Your Son to bring life to all that will believe. You lead with Your truth, unfailing love, and compassion. Psalm 25
