Variety of Gifts

8 For example: The Spirit gives to one the gift of the word of wisdom. To another, the same Spirit gives the gift of the word of revelation knowledge. 9 And to another, the same Spirit gives the gift of faith. And to another, the same Spirit gives gifts of healing. 10 And to another the power to work miracles. And to another the gift of prophecy. And to another the gift to discern what the Spirit is speaking. And to another the gift of speaking different kinds of tongues. And to another the gift of interpretation of tongues. 11 Remember, it is the same Holy Spirit who distributes, activates, and operates these different gifts as he chooses for each believer. I have always been fascinated and encouraged that God in His wisdom gave a variety of gifts to each of His children. He knows who we are and what we are able to do with the wisdom He gives us. I believe it is our responsibility to see our unique gifts and to develop them so that they are put to the best use in the body of Christ. And then to remember this: “Remember, it is the same Holy Spirit who distributes, activates, and operates these different gifts as he chooses for each believer.” (1 Corinthians 12:8-11 The Passion)

Thank You, Father, that first of all that You have chosen to use us, Your children, and then that with the variety of gifts You give, You give them as You choose. Thank You for the gifts You have given me. AMEN
