Something Happened

Scripture:

4 But then something happened: God our Savior and His overpowering love and kindness for humankind entered our world; 5 He came to save us. It’s not that we earned it by doing good works or righteous deeds; He came because He is merciful. He brought us out of our old ways of living to a new beginning through the washing of regeneration; and He made us completely new through the Holy Spirit, 6 who was poured out in abundance through Jesus, the Anointed One, our Savior. 7 All of this happened so that through His grace we would be accepted into God’s covenant family and appointed to be His heirs, full of the hope that comes from knowing you have eternal life. 8 This is a faithful statement of what we believe. (Titus 3:4-8 The Voice) I will be forever grateful that something happened for me, and in my life. God truly has overpowering love and kindness for me and for all. He sent His precious Son so that we could be made completely new through the Holy Spirit. Now I/we can be full of hope because of this life now, and for the eternal life ahead. Thank You, God, that something happened for me, and that because of that I have had a life that is full in so many ways. Thank You for salvation and for purpose. Your love is unfailing, and I am so very grateful. AMEN May Your gracious Spirit continue to lead me forward on a firm footing. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. Psalm 143
