Seeds Of Truth

Scripture: 21 Jesus was planting seeds of truth in them. The true temple was His body . 22 His disciples remembered this bold prediction after He was resurrected. Because of this knowledge, their faith in the Hebrew Scriptures and in Jesus’ teachings grew. 23 During the Passover feast in Jerusalem, the crowds were watching Jesus closely ; and many began to believe in Him because of the signs He was doing. 24 – 25 But Jesus saw through to the heart of humankind, and He chose not to give them what they requested . He didn’t need anyone to prove to Him the character of humanity. He knew what man was made of. (John 2:21-25 The Voice) I believe that Jesus is still planting seeds of truth if we are willing to open our hearts and listen. Just as with a seed, the truth we hear needs time to grow into something more and more fruitful in our lives. As we hear more and more of the truth, we can gain more and more understanding just as the disciples did. Thank You, Jesus, that You still plant seeds of truth! I love the picture that thought gives me. I will continue to listen and learn and let the seeds You plant grow. AMEN You have taught me, Father, from my early years. Now that I am getting older and gray, I thank You for not abandoning me. Psalm 71
