Permitted Or Beneficial

Scripture:

12 I can hear some of you saying , “For me, all things are permitted.” But face the facts: all things are not beneficial. So you say, “For me, all things are permitted.” Here’s my response: I will not allow anything to control me. (1 Corinthians 6:12 The Voice) As we walk this journey as children of God with the Holy Spirit as our guide, we can learn about the difference between things that are or may be permitted, but are not beneficial. There is a big difference! The permitted things have a tendency to keep us from growing, while the beneficial can help us take the next steps in our maturity as a child of God. Father God, we do have so many choices and opportunities as we walk this walk with You. I know that there are things that might seem to be permitted, but will they be beneficial? Help me to choose what is beneficial for my personal growth. Thank You. AMEN I will continue to confidently trust You, Lord, to care for me.
