It Can Be Simple

Scripture:

11 Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Rejoice. Change your ways. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you. (2 Corinthians 13:11 NLT)

It sometimes just seems so simple; this Christian life! I am sure that it is not God who makes it complicated. These admonitions from Paul in this verse just stood out to me this morning. He says, “Rejoice (Be joyful).”, “Change your ways (Grow to maturity.)”, “Encourage each other.”, and “Live in harmony and peace.” Not always easy, but certainly simple.

Lord, I want my life to be more like this: simple in loving and serving others, and in living with others. You are my God, and I love You. AMEN

I do love You, Lord; You are my strength, my rock, my fortress, and my savior. You are my shield, the strength of my salvation and my stronghold. I will always call on You, my God. Psalm 18
