If I Believe

Scripture:

23 Now this wonderful truth—that God declared him to be righteous—wasn’t just for Abraham’s benefit. 24 It was for us, too, assuring us that God will also declare us to be righteous if we believe in God, who brought Jesus our Lord back from the dead. 25 He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised from the dead to make us right with God. (Romans 4:23-25 NLT)

This is so simple and yet so profound! If I believe, I will have right standing with God. God did not make it complicated; he made it simple. It is not always easy though. Each day brings its own set of problems, and we need to believe that God is bigger and stronger than those problems. I choose to believe God again today. I believe Him for my life, for my strength, for my healing, and for help with whatever may come my way today.

I’m thankful today, Lord, that You made it simple for me to have right standing with You. I do believe. You truly are my God, and my daily hope and strength. AMEN
