Empower Others
Scripture:
Now those who are mature in their faith can easily be recognized, for they don’t live to please themselves but have learned to patiently embrace others in their immaturity. 2 Our goal must be to empower others to do what is right and good for them, and to bring them into spiritual maturity. 3 For not even the most powerful one of all, the Anointed One, lived to please himself. His life fulfilled the Scripture that says: All the insults of those who insulted you fall upon me. 4 Whatever was written beforehand is meant to instruct us in how to live. The Scriptures impart to us encouragement and inspiration so that we can live in hope and endure all things. (Romans 15:1-4 The Passion)
I believe that God always intended that our relationship with Him and our spiritual growth is not just for ourselves. As we learn and grow, it can, and should, be to help others also gain more understanding. To keep what we grasp of the truths of God from Scripture and fellowship with other believers would be selfish. As this Scripture so clearly says: “The Scriptures impart to us encouragement and inspiration so that we can live in hope and endure all things.”
Thank You, Father, for Who You are, and the truths You share with us. As I continue to mature in You, help me share with others. AMEN
Thank You, God, for Your nurturing love that is tender and gentle. You are slow to get angry yet so swift to show your faithful love. You are full of abounding grace and truth. Psalm 86
