Also Believe In God

Scripture:

44 Jesus shouted out passionately, “To believe in me is to also believe in God who sent me. 45 For when you look at me you are seeing the One who sent me. 46 I have come as a light in this dark world so that all who trust in me will no longer wander in darkness. 47 If you hear my words and refuse to follow them, I do not judge you. For I have not come to judge you but to save you. 48 If you reject me and refuse to follow my words, you already have a judge. The message of truth I have given you will rise up to judge you at the Day of Judgment. 49 For I’m not speaking as someone who is self-appointed but I speak by the authority of the Father himself who sent me, and who instructed me what to say. 50 And I know that the Father’s commands result in eternal life, and that’s why I speak the very words I’ve heard him speak.” (John 12:44-50 The Passion) Here was Jesus once again showing Who He was; miracles of healing, raising Lazarus from the dead, having the audible voice of God speaking from the heavens, and still so many of people were questioning. Jesus said He did not judge them if they did not also believe in God, but their unbelief would judge them. Jesus is the light in a very dark world and that is for those who believe. I believe! Thank You, Father, that You sent Your Son into this dark world as a light that shows us the way to You and to eternal life. I love You today and always. AMEN And here is what I have learned, Lord. Don’t give up, don’t be impatient, but be entwined as one with You. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Keep on waiting – for I know You never disappoint! Psalm 27
