Today there are a lot of people who have authority that’s just as diluted and polluted as the Temple priests.

The storms of life will come to you and to me. The storm is not punishment.
If our service to God is to produce fruit that will last, it must be based in a relationship with Jesus.
You can’t always tell by outward appearance. So don’t be too quick to judge!
When we read, “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate,” we think of “entering heaven after we die”
The point here isn’t really how often, how long, or how loud you pray.
Do you ever wonder why some people just seem to skate along through life and are hardly ever judged or criticized for their faults?
Will I have what I need? Will there be enough?
Some things are mutually exclusive. You can’t be equally devoted to polar opposites.
It’s not merely the religious behavior or the outward act (Jesus relates this principle to prayer, giving, and fasting), it’s the motive.
